I have been trying to read people's blog lately but there either bored to me to hell and back or they make me bubble with laughter.Kenny's account of his phuket getaway makes me bubble with laughter, while Princess Aerdna bored me with her nonsensical posts or lack of posts. =X
I now know how absolutely boring it is when one doesnt blog.
I seek your forgiveness... can you all begin to blog now... -.-!

Sad news.. the white kitty passed away despite our efforts to save it from being abandoned.I guessed the medical condition was too serious before we came along and brought it to the vet.
Well, at least we have tried.
My home is experiencing some cloud of undisputed sadness over the kinda expected departure of the cutie pie - made worse when its mom's birthday today.
I guessed mom felt even worse... she was home and not able to do anything to save the kitten.
We still do not know what happened to her, what caused her death exactly.
But we suspected it was the case of her bloated tummy, which could be caused by a series of problems
For instance, infection from drinking mummy's milk.
Inability to pass motion and wee, due to mommy's neglect.
Worms in the stomach - after all it was a stray until its mother abandoned it for one whole day before we took it in.
and the damned vet could not pinpoint exactly what went wrong!
the other sibling left behind is recovering mighty well, but cranky because its sibling is not around now. It keeps meowing for attention and its heart breaking to know that it is looking for its sibling which is no longer around for some play time, warmth, that is sorely lacking because of the mother figure.
I was told the big sad news this afternoon when i came back home from work. Sis greeted me with a downcast face and I instinctively knew what happened.
After talking to my dogs, who are also very stressed from sudden banishment from my room, their favourite sleep area, I closeted myself in the room grooming the cat, all determined to make sure this kitty survived.
Luckily, It has a good appetite, eating almost 2 tablespoon full of tuna mince - specially bought for the kitties and I daringly mixed some kitty replacement milk formula into the mince. Hopefully, that way, this kitty will grow up strong getting enough nutrients to accompany its growth.
At the current moment, apart from busying myself at work and playing surrogate mother to the remaining kitten, I am looking for a permanent home for the kitty.
If anyone would like to adopt the kitty, kindly forward me your details.

Not That I am feeling very rosy myself.. I am down with a serious bout of oncoming full blown flu... my throat aches like some pricky cactus and I donated all my meals yesterday to the WC next to my room.
Yesterday we discovered one of the kittens seems to have difficulty seeing, we took the kittens to the vet the total bill exceeds a hundred, money aside, the kitten needs to be on antibotics to recover from its viral infection for 14 days.
We only managed to give it one dose and this morning the mother cat took the kittens away!
ARGH!
We organised a search, sister and me.
Not knowing if the cat took the kittens away or somebody did the double act of throwing it away.
Anyhow, i managed to find them mother and all hiding behind the wheel of some honda. So Religiously, one by one, sis and me carried the babies up fed up good with kitten food and specially bought kitten milk. clean them up good and sneaked them their medical dose of the day.
The mother came back up, ate the food we laid outside the house.
And the blardy cat took the kittens away again!
right now, I have the white kitten with the bloated stomach snucked in my balcony. But that can only be a temporary refuge, for daddy hates cats.
Any takers to take care of the kitten for me? I will pass u all the kittie food, medicine all the works. I can't take care of it, not with 2 dogs and 2 hamsters at home.

there's a family of cats right outside my house these few days.No wonder, since one of the kittens was drowned in the drain a few days ago, due to the heavy downpour, the mummy cat have shifted up the kittens to just outside the apartment which is empty.
hmm.. but living here is not without its perils.
Two neightbours have attempted to throw it away.
I was told by another neighbour, one neighbour actually ta bao the kittens in a plastic bag and dumped it into the plastic bin few blocks away.
And yes, the rescuer was non other than her mom.
so the kittens are stlil outside my home.. and we have taken to feeding mommy cat regularly so that she may produce enough milk meals for its little ones.
I try to sneak in a few photos later...

Oh yes.. I have an up and coming break on 8th May and I am wondering where I ought to be heading for a short holiday.A colleague of mine is embarking on her trip to greece in about another 6 days time. Damn it.. I want to be there too!
But if even a choice, I would rather visit Egypt, Italy, Scotland. I have a fascination with these places since a tender age. Probably due to the myths that entranced me, probably because I just have a yearning to go see these rich historical places of interest.
If I can ahve my way, I would like to take my wedding shots there ;P well well well a girl is entitled to her dreams aint she?
*grin*

I slept and slept and slept and slept and I woke bright and early today at 6 am - no alarm clock needed. whhheeet!
Thank goodness for good friday holiday!
I was on the brink of falling sick, sore throat and all.. and the long periods of catching up sleep over the holiday did me wonders.
Sore throat no more, droziness no more... No pending doctor visits for me! yippie!
What's been up with me these days ?
Apart from being in my 'very-time-consuming' job these days, I have been busy house hunting.. saw a very potential flat last weekend, but because of the 10K cash top-up, we had to give it up.
Am going for yet another house hunting session this afternoon let's hope that I can find something really suitable soon.
I am going to start shopping for gowns soon.. but can't find the time.. and with all the good food around.. how to diet?
I have shortlisted the photographer and I do believe the photos will come out great. As such, I am only down to the hotels, dates, renovation of the house (furnishing) and that's about it!
Woo...
Wheels are in motion and I can't wait for my pay raise =X
