I have an venue for my banquet come next year february.

its at the Regent's singapore, four Seasons, located at cuscaden road, near Tanglin shopping centre.

So now that's settled, its high time I go search for my gowns.
yes I havent yet done that.

I have been reading wonderful accounts of married life, blissful, contentment, oozing with sweetness and care. I wonder If mine would be as such.

Perhaps I would.

It has made me yearn for a family lots, but there's still some settling to do. The house is well on its way, as of this month onwards, we are already paying for the monthly instalment, my banquet venus is booked. My photographer has been found, the makeup artist confirmed.

what's now left is the much needed attire for the big day.
The gown, the tea dress, the Kua, the evening gown, the shoes, the bouquet his attire.

We are not intending for a honeymoon at least not so soon after the big day. I probably go some months later. This is to ease up on our financial committments for the big day.

The house and the event clashing together is really quite a headache.

Bud has been asking me to source for furnitures for the house already but I find that an extra chore. Since I wont probably have the house until end of this year.., what's most pressing is the sourcing of contractors! and followed very tightly by our attire selection, something that we have not yet done till today!

sigh.

I look forward to moving in with ray at the end of the year, when we finally could have some peace and quiet to ourselves without all the meddling noses.

Sigh.. that much I wish ...

We went for our HDB appointment today. The house is sold! to us!
I can't buy a landed property in the next 5 years. My parents cannot sell theirs in the next 5 years.

but i have a house to my own! I look forward to the end of this year.. when my house will be ready! =)

yay I have a bed to myself again! keke
